WHAT WE'LL DO
Welcome to Rome! If you want to have a perfect awakening, the ideal is to take a nice morning run through the alleys of Imperial Rome.
Starting from your hotel, we will train at your pace through the wonders of the most beautiful city in the world.
Rome has a vast historic centre, full of alleys where it is easy to get lost... unless you run with a local runner!
We will reach the main highlights of the city and, during the running tour, we will be able to give you the best advice on where and how to spend your stay in Rome.
Run with us early in the morning... and then, during the day, retrace the itinerary with your family! This way you will go without fail!
WHAT TO EXPECT
Choose your preferred departure time. You don’t need to bring anything but your comfiest running shoes and suitable clothing. Local runner, a qualified jog leader, will wait you outside your hotel accomodation (if you are in the city center); otherwise you will meet him on some meeting point (usually close to a METRO). Your route will be set according to the weather and your abilities and interests. Usually it covers around 10 km (6 miles). The pace is set by you, so you’ll be able to complete the running tour. Take a gentle jog up to some of the seven roman hills, and pause to admire the panoramic city views as your local buddy runner will points out the landmarks. Glimpse famous attractions like Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and some roman hills. Make regular stops for photos of the sights and to learn about their history.
